C.H. Pearce is an Australian artist and writer of weird, near-future speculative fiction. Her award-winning short fiction has been published in Aurealis, Etherea, StarShipSofa, and elsewhere. Her favourite subjects are unsettling workplaces, doppelgängers, creepy-crawlies, and disaster humans (or entities) trying to connect. She won a Ditmar Award for Best Fan Artist in 2022, and has been Ditmar-nominated in 2023. She received a mentorship with the Australasian Horror Writers Association (AHWA) in 2022, and was shortlisted in Publishable in 2023.
She has a background in history and archives, and a Graduate Diploma in Professional Writing and Editing. She lives in Canberra with her partner and two small children. She is currently editing her first novel, an architectural horror novel set on a cruise ship, and drafting the next. She is a member of the HWA and SFWA.
