C.H. Pearce is an Australian artist and a writer of weird, near-future speculative fiction. Her award-winning short fiction has been published in Aurealis, Etherea, StarShipSofa, and elsewhere. Her favourite subjects are unsettling workplaces, doppelgängers, creepy-crawlies, and disaster humans (or entities) trying to connect. Her short fiction has been Ditmar-nominated, and she won a Ditmar Award for Best Fan Artist in 2022 and 2023. She received a mentorship with the Australasian Horror Writers Association (AHWA) in 2022, and was shortlisted in Publishable in 2023.

She has a background in history and archives, and a Graduate Diploma in Professional Writing and Editing. She lives in Canberra with her partner and two small children. She is currently editing her first novel, a speculative horror novel set on a cruise ship, and drafting the next. She is a member of the HWA and SFWA.
