C.H. Pearce is an Australian artist and writer of weird, near-future speculative fiction. Her short fiction can be found in Aurealis, Etherea, StarShipSofa, and elsewhere. She won the Marjorie Graber-McInnis Short Story Award in 2015, the Conflux & CSFG Short Story Competition in 2018 and 2021, and a Ditmar Award for Best Fan Artist in 2022. She has a background in history and archives, a GradD in Professional Writing and Editing from the University of Canberra, and received a mentorship with the Australasian Horror Writers Association (AHWA) in 2022.
She lives in Canberra with her partner and two small children. She is currently querying her first novel, set in the same creepy-crawly near-future world as the short stories Newbug and Worms, their Carer, and his Friend, and working on the next.
